Back pain is ubiquitous. Eight out of ten people at some point in their life will have disabling back pain. For most it never quite goes away. Bending, lifting, and moving about are limited. “Oh my aching back” is the usual refrain and nothing changes.

Posture reflects poor body habits. Many people have poor posture and are unaware of the effects; rounded shoulders, tension headaches, jaw tightness, arched back are some effects. Movement makes a big difference- but it should be coordinated and efficient. Sitting with good posture, standing, walking, playing tennis or golf, working out all can be done in such a way to take pressure off the back.
Involvement of all the bodies’ muscle groups; neck, back, torso, extremities and proper coordinated breathing will revitalize your body, relax and improve self image!
Ergonomics is the relationship between work environment such as desk, chair, and keyboard height and your body. Proper positioning at work causes a dramatic decrease in debilitating postures which lead to pain.
All of the above are done in activities of daily living and work. No expensive gym contract , equipment or consultations are necessary.
