Annemarie Colbin

Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D., CHES,  is a health educator and an award-winning writer, consultant and lecturer. She is adjunct professor of nutrition in the Graduate Program of Oriental Medicine at Touro College, and also teaches at Empire State College and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Dr Colbin is the founder of The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, which offers career programs and public classes in health-supportive cooking and natural healing. She has frequently spoken at wellness conferences, as well as offering wellness seminars at numerous organizations such as Shearson Lehman, American Express, Hoffmann-LaRoche, MTV, Viacom, Time Magazine, and many others.

 

She is the author of Food and Our Bones: The natural way to prevent osteoporosis;  Food and Healing; and other books. Her column "Food and Your Health" has been appearing in New York Spirit (formerly Free Spirit) Magazine since 1988, and her articles have been published in the US as well as abroad.
